S.M.A.R.T. repair is a clever new way of reparing minor damage on bodywork. S.M.A.R.T. stands for Small to Medium Area Repair Technique. The technique is simple and fast, providing a useful, cost-effective method of treating bodywork blemishes, scratches, scrapes, small dents and stone chip damage. It wil confine the repair to an area smaller than current , conventional techniques allow.
This makes it ideal for repairs to areas around the edges of doors and other body panels. The technique replaces the previous repair methods of basecoat edge-to-edge or basecoat fadeout, where in each case the clearcoat is taken to the panel edge.
